How about a bit of @noirpress pride for a Friday afternoon? 🖤 I've had a very busy (but fun) week, and am managing to get lots of reading done each morning. 🖤 One of my current reads is The Music Teacher by Noir Press and it's...strange! That's all I can say. 🖤 Noir Press are asking readers how they like to read their books, and my answer is: with my Grandad's bookmark and a pencil to underline quotes with. 🖤 If you want a book with some AMAZING quotes, then read The Easiest, seriously. I started this today as another book for pride month 🏳️‍🌈 I'm currently on chapter twelve and really enjoying it! I can already relate to Ari and his outlook on the world and himself as a person who exists. 🏳️‍🌈 I also like his thoughts on poetry: "I got to thinking that poems were like people. Some you got right off the bat. Some people you just didn't get - and never would get." 🏳️‍🌈 I can't wait to carry on reading it...which is exactly what I'm going to do for the next hour! Happy Pride month! 🌈 I started reading George last month, but ended up leaving it for a bit. Then last night I couldn't sleep so I thought, okay, I'll get up and read instead.
